THE CARIBBEAN – December – May

Based in Antigua, Sojana spends the European winter months cruising and racing in the waters of the Caribbean islands.

The Caribbean Islands are ideal for yacht sailing, with constant trade-winds and many pretty harbors for exploration.

A wealth of secluded, powdery soft beaches can be found along the expansive, winding coastline and the coral reefs provide snorkelers and scuba divers with countless fascinations under the surface.

Antigua is located in the middle of the Leeward Islands, roughly 17 degrees north of the equator giving easy access to the Windward and Leeward island. Temperatures reach the mid-eighties in the summer with annual rainfall averaging only 45 inches.

At night the Caribbean comes alive with the sound of tree frogs and the melodic rhythm of a steel band drifting from the shore.

With warm sea breezes, numerous private anchorages and a varying landscape, the sunshine filled Mediterranean cruising ground is quintessentially charming.

Sojana spends part of the European summer months in the Mediterranean, racing and cruising from various ports.

From the glamour of the French Riviera to the sophistication of Capri, the Mediterranean has boundless offerings for Sojana’s cruising guests.

The diverse coastline, eclectic mix of cultures, long summers and sparkling blue waters have ensured the popularity of the area, making it a cruising ground that attracts a wealth of yachtsmen and women from around the globe.
